The President is joined in the event by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, and other officials from the DOLE, OWWA, NAIA, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Bureau of Immigration (BI), and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) from Kuwait were cheerfully welcomed back into the country as the Department of Foreign Affairs Republic of the Philippines, Department of Labor and Employment, OWWA Overseas Workers Welfare Administration and the Department of Social Welfare and Development worked together to bring our countrymen home.

In one of his speeches, President Rody Duterte reiterated that abuses against OFWs will not be tolerated in the slightest, and that he will do everything in his capacity to protect Filipino workers. #PartnerForChange
